Curcumin-a natural medicine against prostate cancer.

Quality and life expectancy, its treatment and prevention have become an increasingly important topic. Due to the particularity of prostate disease itself, the role of Chinese herbal medicine in the prevention and treatment of prostate disease has attracted much attention. Domestic researchers have reported that lipoxygenase may be one of the targets of curcumin compounds in prostate cancer, and curcumin can induce apoptosis in human prostate cancer PC-3M cells by up-regulating the expression of caspase-3 protein.
Recently, foreign scholars have reported that curcumin may inhibit prostate cancer by up-regulating miR-143 and FOXD3 and then down-regulating oncogenic phosphoglycerol kinase 1.
